History
Girgin Lathe established.
Starting as an apprentice at the Istanbul Zeytinburnu Military Heavy Maintenance Factory at the age of 12, Hayri Girgin worked there for 23 years and became a lathe master. After leaving the factory, he opened his first 20 m² workshop in Istanbul’s Koca Mustafa Paşa district.

He supported the emerging Turkish industry by manufacturing spare parts for various industries.
Cinema Projectors
In the 1960s, he manufactured cinema projectors for the Turkish film industry.

Second Generation Begins Apprenticeship
In 1974, the workshop moved to Istanbul Avcılar, and Hayri Master’s 10-year-old son took his first step into the profession.
Mustafa Girgin
In addition to the training he received from his father, he specialized in his field by studying lathe and machining at Çorlu Vocational High School of Industry.
Gisan Machine Establishment
In 1992, Girgin Torna was incorporated under the name Gisan Makine Ltd. It responded to the domestic demand for machinery in various sectors by manufacturing operating tables, coil slitting machines, and various packaging machines, offering original designs tailored to the needs of the industry.
The First Turkish Made Diaphragm Pump
Gisan noticed the widespread use of American-origin pumps while manufacturing machinery for the packaging industry. Observing the issues of very high maintenance costs and long lead times, it decided to produce Turkey’s first domestically manufactured diaphragm pump under the RAN brand. In 2001, it introduced RAN’s first products to the market at a packaging exhibition in Istanbul.
From father to daughter
This tradition, passed down from father to son, continues as Mustafa Girgin brings his daughter alongside him from an early age.
The Gisan family is growing
By completing the RAN series and manufacturing premium-quality industrial pumps at its workshop in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, it continues to grow its family day by day.
PT. RANpump Indonesia
After RANpump began exporting to 26 countries and establishing more than 10 official overseas distributors, its first international sales and service office was opened in Indonesia in 2012 as a pilot project.
Edirne Factory Completed
Continuing its investments without interruption, Gisan completed the construction of its factory in Edirne in 2020, increasing its production capacity threefold.
RANpump US INC
On this journey driven by the policy of proving Turkish quality to the world, following the first office in Indonesia, the second overseas office was established in Chicago, USA, under the name RANpump US Inc.
